Description
Upgraded Goalie, defense, replaced landy in case he doesn't come back this season. Possibly replacing Nuke if he can't get back. Locked and loaded.

Additional Details:
Landy isn't going to make it back until the playoffs. I've played hockey and you just can't come back that fast and not get hurt again. Knee injuries take time. If he is smart which landy is. He is taking his time. Team agrees and that is why he isnt back before the playoffs. As for this trade. Anahiem isn't going to want to pay 6 mil and Gorgie is worth more then 3. JT and Girard just aren't my fav Avs and I need to shed the money. Kling more then makes up for it and Anahiem wants to tank. Sheding 7 mill is an easy yes.

Ranta is eligible for waivers next season and Detroit doesn't have a roster spot for him. Swap him out for Olausson and it becomes interesting.

What about Beaucage and 2024 1st for Kubalik with some retention?

I'm not that impressed with Beaucage and a 1st in '24 might not be better than a 2nd in '23.

I'd rather do 1st in '23 + Olausson and no retention. Kubalík is worth that much thanks to his contract - both size and term are very favourable for a contending team.

I don't think that's a greedy ask. Kubalík is on pace for 58 points and is signed for only 2.5 million through next year and the 1st is a very late one. Any less offer and we should simply keep Dominik.

Hawks decline. Bowers is nothing special at his point, and the Hawks don't trade Domi straight up for Foudy.

Yikes, Georgiev has played fine when hes not playing every night now that Francouz is back. No way Avalanche are shipping out Cogliano either, huge locker room guy. And you traded away the few decent prospects in the system. Definitely gonna piss a lot of people off lol, I don't think the Avs or their trade partners you have listed make any of these trades.
