I'm talking about guys who can hold the puck in the corners, win the little stick battles to maintain pressure. And definitely mention them if they're UFAs, please. I'm not really looking for 1st line mega-stars, more like 2nd, 3rd, 4th line guys, or maybe a complimentary top line guy. Basically, the guys most fans don;t realize are cycle monsters because they don;t watch your team every night.

for the Oilers I'd probably Ryan McLeod, the Holloway-McLeod-Foegele line would generate a lot more offence if Foegele wasn't so bad at scoring (the guys has literally had like 5 breakaways this month and didn't score on any of them)

For NJ...the BMW line (Bastian, McLeod, Wood) are all pretty good and are strong skaters and can grind it.
They can all be tough on dmen.
Only Wood is UFA.

Our other three lines play most possession style...so try to hang onto puck.

Hischier and Mercer are our best "puck retrievers"
Foote has skating issues, but can punish dmen in corners.

Just spitballing names....Jeannot, Trenin, Hathaway, Greenway, Grundstrom, Wagner...

Exceptionally good at puck protection- Maroon, Paul, Killorn, Perry
Above league average in puck protection- Colton, Bellemare
Exceptionally good at stick battles- Hagel (2nd in the league in takeaways), Paul, Perry
Best puck retrievers- Hagel, Colton, Cirelli, Namestnikov, Paul

UFAs are Killorn, Perry, Bellemare and Namestnikov
