I would've rather they just moved multiple players at deadline for picks/prospects but here we are @oliver_wahlstrom

Not sure on these UFA signings. I'd aim to get Horvat at $8M or less (Lou is usually pretty decent at getting his guy at his price so let's hop that holds true.) Mayfield should look for a bigger role and pricier deal elsewhere - if Erik Gudbranson can sign 4x$4M last summer, I'm sure Mayfield can find another team willing to give him that kind of AAV. Lankinen's value is okay but I would think he might try and go somewhere he can start - the worst season of his 3 NHL years so far was behind a Chicago team that made the reigning Vezina winner look bad, so I'm not going to hold that too strongly against him, either. Milano also feels like a stretch to go from league minimum to $2.5M after half a season playing at a 45-50 point pace, but stranger things have happened.

I also don't get trading Sebastian Aho for scraps - he's actually been a solid defender this year and makes less than $1M. Go a little lighter on some of those UFA deals and you can easily find a home for him instead of dumping him out for a 6th rounder. If you did move him, I would bet he could get something in the 3rd/4th round range.
