I don't think Calgary would do this.

I think CGY would have to think about that deal. Parsons has high potential, but CGY has Gillies penciled as the internally-developed future starter.

I quite like the iea of buying low on Mrazek, especially with his contract expiring in 2018. Might be able to re-sign him at an excellent price.

Helm costs too much for too many years. He's on the wrong side of 30, and the production does not match the price. Pittsburgh passes.

For the Calgary it could be gillies I just used parsons because it was easier, it was essentially a starter now to give a top prospect time to develop and still be competitive.

As for the Pitt it seemed like from pens fans that they were done with hagelin and I figured Bonino might be too expensive to resign.

Thanks for the help guys, just throwing out feelers from other teams because you'll have best knowledge of what the org is thinking

CGY would not include Gillies in this deal.

Don't think they would include Gillies in any deal, unless Price, Holtby, or Quick were coming back.

CGY I know it seems like gillies is there man I was just saying like a parsons/gillies type would be what they would need. With gillies being there guy of the future I thought parsons for mrazek, b level prospect could be added in too. Just throwing out fun ideas

Not trying to be mean here but I don't see why anyone would take Detroit seriously offering this. Mrazek-Parsons I could see maybe going down depending on Calgary's mood, but I don't know why Detroit would. If you're going to lose a goalie right now, you wouldn't want to lose Mrazek. He's struggled lately, but they are not deep enough to support Howard/Coreau. Howard would get injured. Coreau and who? Machovsky, Pohtleberg, Pasquale, Paterson, Larsson, or Perry. Who of that crew? Some of those aren't even under contract.

There are a lot of people who aren't sold on any of our goalies for the future myself being one. It's living with howard for the rest of his contract while parsons is in the minors and then it turns into a mentor role. Parsons/Gillies have solid potential to make it and are well in age to fit with the future of the team. Larkin, svech, AA, mantha
