No team is giving up all that for an injured goalie.

Ottawa is not trading for a borderline cap dump like Demko.

      Try again.

The only way we get that package is if demko comes back and is bubble demko again, sadly his value is at an all time low right now

If Demko returns to play before the trade deadline, I could see them trading him for just a first round pick. Even better if it happens at the draft like it did with Schneider. Bottom line, Demko has to be traded but for less that what you are proposing

Take out Vilardi and Schenn and LA would consider it.

man this isn't directly after the playoff series with Vegas. Demko's obviously good but people aren't gonna pay that much for a goalie not named Ilya or Andrei

Lol teams in need of goalie but fans don't want to pay... That said your best bet is LA in these ideas. The other two are a bit much, specifically the Ottawa idea. I think LA is an intriguing option around Quick, Kupari, Grans or a couple young players minus picks and that's what the FO wants.

Imagine calling a top 10 goalie in the league a borderline cap dump because he had 15 bad games while injured and playing behind one of, if not the worst, defense in the league, as well as the worst PK of all time

      Try again

I don't need to try again because the trade never happens.

      Anything else?

      Cap dump?

      Cap dump?

He is nowhere near a cap dump. Last year he was a top 10 goalie, he’s had a rough year due to injury, but Cap dump? Really?

He isn’t anywhere NEAR a cap dump, a guy plays injured, plays below his level for 3 months and all of a sudden he is a borderline capdump?

I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed

His D-core consisted of Myers, OEL, Hunt, Burroughs, Schenn, Hughes. 1 of those players is a top pair defender, the other 5 are 4-7, not a good D-core in the least

Then that hurts his value. That isn't the other team's problem.

      I would disagree,
To preface, I dont think he should be moved
But, I think that teams will look at who’s in front of him and with that see that if he had a half decent team in front of him he would be a top 10, maybe even a top5 goalie in the league

Top 3 in 5v5 GSAx last year, 2nd in 2020-21 and 2021-22 combined. He’s been let down by a terrible defense and historically bad PK, yet still performed at an elite level. If he was playing in Carolina or Tampa Bay or Colorado he’d be a Vezina favourite year after year
