laugh laugh That garbage doesn't even get Larkin at 50% let alone both Larkin and Bertuzzi at 50% to a divisional foe like Toronto. And no Larkin isn't waiving to Toronto to play LW You're at least a 1st and 2nd off you'd need to pay us to take Engval off your hands.

Yeah this is a pretty poor effort.

It does seem like they offer the same couple of packages for every player they want.

It essentially boils down to

Dylan Larkin ($3,050,000 retained) for Knies+Niemela+2023 1st round pick 26-32nd OA pick.

Tyler Bertuzzi ($2,375,000 retained) for Engval+2023 3rd round pick which is a joke to a divisional foe

Both trades are very underwhelming. And zero chance of Yzerman ever making them. This would be a major fleece job by Dubas. And Yzerman is the one that does the fleecing.

Knies + Niemela + '23 first for a year of Larkin is underwhelming lmao? No chance Leafs would do that

Knies and the 1st are the only decent pieces, Niemela is so overhyped it isn't funny. You're still at least 2 significant pieces off.

Well this is ridiculous. So Larkin costs more than Horvat and Engvall costs a 1st and 2nd to dump? This is just homerism mixed with anti leaf sentiment to the max.

Drop Bertuzzi and this is far more than Horvat got and he's a bigger chip than Larkin.

Larkin isn't getting more than Horvat and Knies is better than Raty, Engvall is better then Beauvillier and the 1sts are close to the same, especially if the Islanders make the playoffs. And you are getting Niemela who is a solid prospect as well. Adding Bertuzzi was excessive and not needed. But you need to be realistic.

Well, it's guaranteed that it won't be 32 OA wink

You don't have to worry about it, Leafs don't even consider calling Detroit about those players

Bertuzzi is a cap dump at best, Larkin is a rental that's leaving Detroit hahaha

Leafs easily decline tears of joy We're not giving up assets for those players. They barely have any value

If Toronto were to acquire Larkin they would 100% move JT to the wing.

Larkin will be very expensive though, ROR is the much more logical target

Good, Because no chance do the Wings trade both Bertuzzi and Larkin and retain 50% for what's being offered especially to a divisional foe like Toronto.

laugh Beauvillier was a cap dump to make Horvat's cap fit, It was basically Raty who's basically a late 2nd round pick taken 52nd overall so don't make it out like he's some super incredible hockey player. And also depending on where the Isles finish that pick could be 13th OA and later. If Larkin hit the market there would be far more suitors then there was apparently for Horvat. And even suggesting that Horvat has more value tan Larkin is pretty laugh Larkin plays a solid 200 ft game He's good both offensively and defensively. Where Horvat is good offensovely but sucks defensively. And anyone suggesting that Horvat gets more than Larkin is just plain wrong. Both will probably come in around $8,500,000 per for 7-8 years.

Larkins and Seiders Corsi numbers say otherwise.

You may want to double check those numbers pal. Larkin is about 50% while Seider is at 45. Both are negative in goals against percentage, scoring chances %, high danger chances against etc. No one in Detroit defends well.
