If we can't get a 2023 first or second for Henrique, or a quality prospect like Niemela, we'll just hold onto him for another season. A 2024 second, a smurf, a UFA and yet another third-round pick when we have two late seconds and another third already just don't move the needle.

They have zero cap space. They aren't taking on peripheral players making more than can be buried in the AHL. You have them taking an additional $2.5M, that's just not going to work. Any trade with Edmonton has to be at least cap neutral for them.

Holl isn't a "useful player" for them anyhow - they've already got 4 RHD that they like better.

If you're looking to dump cap, do it somewhere else. You know, like a non-contender who has cap space.
