Luukkonen and/or Levi aren’t going anywhere I wouldn’t think unless they’re part of a trade for a top goalie. Portillo probably could be had for a mid round pick since it’s unlikely he signs in Buffalo after his season in Michigan is over

Howdy. Y’all can have Portillo. Not Levi or UPL

Canucks fan here; the only guy on my L.A. wish list is Brandt Clarke and I expect he is close to untouchable. Demko + 1st and Prospect?

Also, I'm pretty sure Van is collecting Pettersson's, so.... maybe?

Asking price for Gavrikov is a 1st and a 3rd. Typical of similar players at recent deadlines.

It is cited that McCabe unretained will probably be a 2nd and decent prospect. Retained will probably be 1st

Demko is a perfect fit in LA. And LA are sneaky good. Copley is like 15-4 this yr with a sub .900%. A goalie might make them a cup contender.

Given his age and contract status I think the return would be fairly large. LA has the prospects. Canucks wants centers and d men (preferable RD)

Brandt Calrke is not that special. If he succeeds it will be as a PP QB. Canucks have that locked up for 6 yrs. The rest of his game is underdeveloped.

Van has very little Promising long term RD Prospects. Clarke would be a superstar on this team. The problem with Demko is his injury history. I couldn't imagine a world where this would be a 1 for 1 swap.

I don't see him as much beyond an offensive dman. It's nice that he plays the right side but there is a reason he didn't make the jr team till his d+1. They took 7 lefties the yr before and cut him. Why? Because his defensive game is all over the place and they already had Power, Zellweger to play PP. Nothing about the values because i know Clarke was a high pick but his profile doesn't seem very intriguing for Vancouver given the only thing we do have is a top tier pp qb who probably will always struggle defensively to a degree. We don't need more of that especially if we can't give them PP time.

I wasn't impressed with him at WJC beside one or two offensive flairs. He could learn the positions but he seemed to make a lot of bad plays in my opinion. Fine prospect no doubt though.
