Trades
1.
VAN
    Future Consideration
    TBL
    1. Pearson, Tanner
    Additional Details:
Pearson will be LTIR'd for the remainder of this deal. Tampa will be all over it.
    2.
    VAN
    1. 2024 4th round pick (NYR)
    NYR
    1. Dermott, Travis ($750,000 retained)
    Additional Details:
Cost efficient 3LD rental for the Rangers who are in need of one.
    3.
    VAN
      Future Considerations
      TOR
      1. Poolman, Tucker
      Additional Details:
Severe concussion issues. Again another LTIR for the remainder of the deal.
      4.
      VAN
      1. 2023 1st round pick (EDM)
      EDM
      1. Schenn, Luke
      Additional Details:
My hot take but I do think he fetches a 1st based on precedent (Chairot, Savard).
      5.
      VAN
      1. Krebs, Peyton
      2. Luukkonen, Ukko-Pekka
      3. 2023 2nd round pick (VGK)
      BUF
      1. Demko, Thatcher
      Additional Details:
I'd love for this to happen for both sides. Vancouver gets younger, and Buffalo parts ways with an expendable centre prospect, as they have better/younger ones still in the pipeline.

That isn't a hot take, that's a suicide sauce take on Schenn. These offers seem to be getting more wild by the day.

No reason for TOR to take on VAN's mistake.

Buffalo thanks you for the generous help but keep your has been till he’s worth that much and the Myers and Boeser dumps. Your only trade-able player gone

Yeah he's not cooking ever again.

The difference in Schenn vs. Chiarot is that Chiarot could play in top 4 minutes (at the time he was traded). Schenn, if traded, would be an insurance marker on the back end to a team that needs depth. He'd net you a 3rd or 4th. Or maybe Tampa gives you Foote going back the other way.

Why do Canucks fans think the Sabres are going to trade good assets and a starting goalie for an injured demko?

Vancouver will have to pay up to dump Poolman. Minumum ask from the Leafs will be a 1st round pick +

So TB just gives Vancouver ownership around 1 million dollars in real cash for nothing? Insurance only covers up to 80 % so the remainder of this year's and 850 k next year minimum. No one is doing that please think realistically. You want to save that much real cash it costs at least a 1 or 2 MINIMUM!!
TB counters Seabrook for Future Considerations he's going to be on LTIR the remainder of his contract you take the hit for nothing since you think it's such a good deal. TB would much rather be able to accrue cap space.
