Preds pass. We have no use for Hajek and a 3rd that's 2 years out definitely isn't enticing.

Sharks (hopefully) pass on that all day. Why trade a guy from a position of weakness (Defense) for a guy whose a bottom 6 forward at best, twice as expensive, and filling exactly zero holes on the roster aside from blocking even more of the young guys than the Sharks current roster already is?

It's going to be real tough for NYR to make these trades since, for certainty, NSH declines. Highly likely SJ declines too. Nothing of interest here.

Take out all the useless pieces in the Jeannot trade. Jeannot alone costs a late first, probably a few more quality pieces too. Ur not very slick by giving Jeannot zero value

Jeannot no longer has the value. He had a solid rookie year but this year he has not produced offensively at all and has literally just been a hitter and a fighter. Could go acquire reaves, macEwen or deslauriers for 1/6 his price if that’s what you want. Until Jeannot shows he is still capable of scoring 15-20 goals while bringing solid 2 way play, his value isn’t very high

Megna is on a sweet deal and has a year left after this career year. It’s gonna take a 2nd likely to move him

idk he's still a bottom 4 defenseman. yes he's having a career year, but that's not overly saying much..

jeannot will take a lot less than that. unless some team is crazy high on him, i don't see that happening. he has 13 points in nearly 50 games. i don't see any teams giving a first for that. i could maybe see a second at best, but odds are he'll go for a third and either a low tier nhl player or a prospect (which in this case is shown above)

He’s been great and is on basically a league minimum deal

Nashville doesnt have to trade Jeannot, Poile and Hynes love Jeannot, unless Nashville actually gets something worthwhile Jeannot stays. So odds are he is in Nashville next season
