Very much a tweakable trade. Kravtsov is a good player he just needs a change of scenery. He needs top 6 spot and just isn’t getting it here

I don’t like Kratzov so maybe it’s personal bias but I’d rather just not deal with him

That Tarasenko deal is strong..... it could be beat, but certainly a trade the Blues have to consider.

Not sure is Nashville is ready to give up on Jeannot. Get the thinking, and Gautheir is a rather underrated defensive player, but Jeannot brings a lot of intangibles I am not sure Poile moves..... not for a 4th liner (albeit a good one) and a 3rd.

If you move Jones, I am wondering if you don't do better than Megna. Logan Stanley plays an equally physical, competent game while having played 15-16 minutes a night. He has contract control beyond those two years. Since Jones is waiver exempt still (I believe) he maybe a better target and Winnipeg I think kicks that around the can. Now if Megna is more a move thinking cap constraints next season, I get it, but Stanley shouldn't be more than $1.2-$1.3 million on a bridge deal.

Overall, love the logic. And definitely the assets you are moving have fits. That Nashville deal might need massaging though

Appreciate the feed back. Gauthier is always noticeable, he doesn’t get enough ice time imo. We just need a “meaner tougher” guy there in his spot, Blais has kind of screwed us regarding that. Gauthier could be a top 9 RW for any team imo.

Megna is definitely someone I’d like to get. He’s perfect for our 3rd pair and under a million bucks. But I’d search for others without a problem. They just need him (Schneider) a steady partner. Harpur has been fine but he’s more of a 7th D

What would it take? 🤔def would love to get him. Feels like Nashville could use some goal scoring. Tanner struggling this year there

For sure!

I mentioned Stanley given he is still young and under contract control and could be a longer term.partner for Schneider. Give him a look up. Like Gautheir, very under rated.

Jeannot is a playoff teams wet dream. He's defensive, takes hard matchups, extremely physical and shoots alot.
Can't see poile really looking at a trade involving Jeannot unless its a package that blows him away.

Fair. I just happened to look and saw the regression in offense but it’s probably not as important with him, because like you said he does other things well. He’s ideal for the Rangers tho I’ll tell you that. I may trade a first for him if you had me on the phone long enough haha

You think they’d take Kravtsov for him? It would be bit like the Buch trade, but try try again lol they just need beef, like legit good players beef. Blais really killed them getting hurt and now sucking unfortunately

Kravtsov needs a new home and I bet he’d score 20-30 goals next year. He’s just doomed here in NYC

Preds fans might get mad at that, but I'm not opposed to it. I, myself, could part with Krav and a 3rd or 4th maybe?

if I’m Drury I would do that. Just helps other needs more. And he’s cheap next year too probably, Jeannot I mean. Maybe two million or something. Kravtsov too for that matter. But Jeannot fits better right now

From a Blues fan POV this would be a return I would be happy with. Blais was good for us in a bottom 6 role, Kravstov has some hope to possibly be something, Robertson is someone we could use in our system and hope he turns out well enough to be a guy for us in a position that we lack two way guys to play alot of minutes. And the first is more or less the goal. I don’t think Blais has value at all and I’m sure he’s in for cap but maybe he can be a guy that we use through this retool who is familiar here.
