  1. Walker, Sean
  2. 2023 1st round pick (LAK)
  3. 2024 3rd round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
I’ve made this trade before and kings fans give me crap for including Walker, but LAK is probably looking to dump him considering he’s injury prone and not worth his 2.65m when healthy. I included him solely for cap purposes
LAK
  1. 2024 5th round pick (CBJ)
Additional Details:
Gavrikov 50% retained, Korpisalo

    1. 2023 4th round pick (BOS)
    2. 2024 3rd round pick (BOS)

      Additional Details:
2022 TDL. I love Robi but he’s kinda the odd man out with so many youngsters and imo Foudy should get his spot. I posted him here with higher value before and got flak for it, but I still think he’s worth more than this so w/e

Tampa gets a cheaper defensemen, a former first who still has middle 6 promise but needs a change of scenery, and the 22nd overall pick. Voracek is probably gonna LTIR and they could utilize that space

You rightly get crap for treating Walker as a cap dump. He's a quality defenseman and worth a 2nd round pick on his own.

He's also not injury prone. He missed a season from taking a slap shot to the face from Matt Dumba. Then he missed a season from tearing his ACL/MCL. He has since returned and has no lingering effects. How is that injury prone?

Yeah TB just signed both to 8 year extensions and aren't trading either.

Yeah Tampa isn't trading Cernak after just extending him 8 years. And that garbage doesn't even come close to getting him.

Gavrikov is certainly getting a first, and if he isn’t then it would take a prospect like Grans + a second instead of the first.

‘23 1st shouldn’t be traded is what I said. You can have ‘24 1st though.

I don't understand the hype surrounding Gavrikov. I don't think he's that good. He shouldn't be the defenseman that LA is targeting.

Preds pass. We'll hang onto Tomasino as we have no need for another puck moving dman.

You are as misinformed about Walker's health and worth as Rick was about Casablanca having waters. As @Kings67 said, we're NOT trading our 2023 first for Gavrikov or anyone else, unless it's the ONLY significant piece we have to pay for someone like Jakob Chychrun. And if you get a 2023 first for Gavrikov from someone, good for you.

There's a difference between a "cost" and an "asking price." The "asking price" for Eichel was four 1sts. He didn't get that.

The reported asking price for Chychrun last season was three 1sts plus, and he didn't get moved because that's insane. Now it's down to two 1sts plus, and he still hasn't been moved because that's still insane.

Kekäläinen can ask for whatever he wants. That doesn't mean he's going to get it.

Yes, just how he wasn’t getting firsts for foligno or Savard.

You don’t understand the market value if you don’t think a dman like Gavrikov is going to get a first at the TDL ESPECIALLY if we retain 50%

Foligno brought leadership and playoff experience which Toronto desperately needed. Savard played the exceptionally rare top four RHD role and was better than Gavrikov. There are a ton of LHD on the market this year, with higher end guys available like Provorov and Chychrun.

You yourself admit that he's not good. I could potentially see a conditional 1st round pick based on playoff success if Columbus retains salary, but even that's a stretch.

This is all over the place.
The Gavrikov/Korpi trade is a bit steep for LA.
The Nyquist trade might work, but IDK if Boston is the team that'd go for it.
Trading Robinson would IMO be a mistake; he's still our best forechecker.
That Tomasino deal is atrocious for Nashville.
And Tampa isn't trading Cernak for anything we're willing to offer.
