The Canucks should be tanking, why are they motivated to make Demko or the defense better?

Canes do not consider that for a second. KK is developing incredibly well. Why would they take on a bigger cap hit for a worse fit to the system on an older player in a position they don't need to bolster while moving from the position they are weakest at? It's not thought out

.900 SV% is too low for the Demko condition. That's below league average. .905 minimum, preferably .910.

It's intentionally low because the return here is pretty soft. It's a bottom 6 RFA, a prospect D, and a 2yr cap dump.

The condition is basically just can demko stay healthy next year and if he does then that pick becomes a 1st.

I suppose if Demko has a .901 SV% at 39 games, the Kings can just bench him for the rest of the season and run with their 1B.

This couldn't be you saying earlier that "the one thing Carolina has enough of is C's and they need depth and scoring wingers" could it???

Seems like you just enjoy being contradictory.

Yes, but they split C duties. They split draws, they split time down the middle of the ice. Even if you take Kotkaniemi off that line, Horvat doesn't remove Necas. There's no need for this deal. They need depth and scoring wingers, not more centers. That is the one thing they have enough of. If they wanted more C help, they'd go to Drury (who has one goal in each game he has played at the NHL level) who just had the best AHL playoff point production by a rookie in almost two decades. This does nothing for Carolina.

How far back did you go digging for that LMAO? Drury's not even in the NHL anymore. Time changes everything buddy. Stop crying about it

Kept it in my receipts because it's exactly what I told you back then and you were so adamant it wasn't the case. Turns out it was. Who could have saw that coming? Oh ya pretty much everyone that you were a dick to vehemently defending KK and Staal and Statsny as strong C depth and not needing a 2C
