But changing/upgrading 4 pieces out of 21? If it takes that many moves and exchanged players to come up with a better roster for the playoffs- then maybe you should come to the conclusion that NYR don't have a Cup ready team! With all this change needed- and who knows how long it takes all these guys to gel....just too much risk to take when you look at the barren draft cupboard for this year's draft and those that follow.

So I'm out on all this...instead, do a small deal for Barbashev and another small deal to get Megna from SJ...then roll the dice with your playoff chances from there- meaning lets see how far Shest can take NYR (even after all these moves, that's what it will come down to anyway).
