Just value wise, I think two 1st round picks plus Greenway is a bit hefty for DeBrincat. Other than that, the Wild probably won't have enough cap space to re-sign him for what he wants, they are still stuck with dead cap. But, would DeBrincat and Kaprizov on a line be awesome? Yes. Or Boldy, keep Zuc and Kaprizov together.

I'd take out one of the firsts and add Dumba instead. OTT get's their Dman, MIN gets a top end F to play with Zucc and Kaprisov and saves some cap next two years on Greenway

Umn no Minnesota declines easily. They aren't in need of a Winger anyway, and you forgot cap along with absurd unrealistic proposal for a player who doesn't fit Minnesota need or cap

Of course the cap situation makes it very unrealistic. However, just in terms of need, the Wild have Kaprizov, Zuccarello, Boldy, Foligno, Greenway, Hartman, Duhaime and DeWar that can and have played as wingers for them.. DeBrincat instantly moves into their top 3-4 on their winger list. Dailyfaceoff.com has Marcus Foligno seen on their second line. Cat would upgrade their offence generally and their wing position.

But, of course, the cap.

Dumba doesn't have that kind of value. He is not playing well and is a pending UFA.

I don't think Ottawa gets two 1sts in a package for Debrincat. Even if he is worth that, teams don't like to trade back to back 1st round picks like that. If it is two 1sts, and a 2nd in value, I'd imagine it works out something like 2023 1st, 2024 2nd, and a prospect worth a 1st.

They also will have a difficult time fitting Debrincat in after this season. Even with moving out Greenway, they will only have 12.3M next season with a 15 player roster. I suppose it's possible if they sign Debrincat for around 8M, and then roll with a roster well below the 23 player limit - but it seems like it would be difficult without another player moving out.
