gross overpay for EK even retained, he is 32 and going to be 33 in may, no team is going to give up major pieces for him, OTT swiftly declines

I can't see giving up that much for Meier if that would be his contract in the end. Not sure how many teams could take on that contract that the Devils would need to push so many assets in for it.
