Hawks probably decline. They'll want a 2023 pick if they're retaining half on Domi. The Hawks are also taking on an additional $1.4m in cap hit, which is gonna cost something I'd think.

Those kind of comments annoyed me a little bit
I added a good prospect BECAUSE the Hawks are retaining & taking Gurianov
The whole package is for rental Domi half retained + taking Gurianov
I even said it in the description, maybe I should have added the retention as well for people like you

Now ... I could understand CHI declining BECAUSE they would want a 2023 2nd round pick instead and maybe a little bit more if a team really overpays

You're right. I should have said change the 2024 2nd to the 2023 2nd and Hawks might accept. My bad. So sorry.

So the Athletic prospect rankings lists Stranges as the #11 prospect for Dallas. He's described as an odd skater who is kind of a perimiter player, which is exactly the opposite of what Davidson's been seeking. This is not a prospect that moves the needle much for me.

If Gurianov is a salary dump, $2.9M in cap space at the deadline may be worth a second round pick itself. And you're also asking for retention on Domi. That doesn't add up.

Maybe Domi for Gurianov and the 2023 second.
