Nope. Trading Roy opens a gap the Kings have no one to fill. He's literally the only defensive RHD the Kings have in the system.

I'm not saying the value is bad, just that the Kings can't afford to move Matt Roy. That 1st round pick won't turn into a contributing player for at least 3 years.

That's a big NO from the Habs. Roy is a fine player but not nearly worth what's likely to be a top 10 pick next year
