Had to consider Vancouver's viewpoint, Boeser plus another young forward they ought to expect in their lineup next season ... but what could be added to make it work? Or are the Flyers even interested in this as a premise?

The Flyers could use a LW prospect in the system, maybe even plays with them this year.

Flyers will get a much better return than this. Better player than Boeser at a lower cap hit. Hoglander is a decent add, but doesn't make up the difference.

I suppose I could have added a bit of retention on Boeser, as the rumor mill suggests that will be what gets a trade done, for other teams.. but I suppose a bit of retention wouldn't be enough for you still on this one? If a pick went to the Flyers? Someone is going to take a chance on the guy (Boeser), probably in the offseason as opposed to now, as the Flyers don't have a need to do this deal right now, but nonetheless, just figuring out a value.. as Carlin would say, "IF IT DID!", referring to Boeser reaching 30 goal, 65-70 point production, he would be worth something.

Flyers can get more than that for Konecney. Boeser is soft, injured or sick a lot and overpaid. If he played a more physical game or didn't miss so many games he'd be worth more but he is what he is.

I'd say a first would have to go back. If TK is available, if I'm Dubas I'm throwing 2 first, a good prospect and a cap dump like Kerfoot to the Flyers.

I really think Horvat set the table for TK or Hayes. LP1, Top Prospect, and a serviceable/salary dump player.
