-The rumored asked for McCabe with retention starts with a 1st - if that's not here, I can't see Chicago biting. Asking them to wait a year on the pick while giving them a pair of mid-tier prospects just doesn't make up the value they're supposedly looking for.

-I'll defer to Flyers fans if they like this value, but I think I'd pass. Konecny's value is at its highest right now, he's a PPG+ player with 2x$5.5M left - Kerfoot is just cap filler for a rebuilding Flyers team, while Sandin doesn't fit incredibly well on a team with Ivan Provorov & Travis Sanheim signed to big deals with term, and Cam York ready to make the leap in the near future. I don't think the value is awful (it needs a little more) but I just don't love the fit.

-I think Bjugstad gets a better return than a tweener like Abruzzese - maybe they take it, but I think they'd be more interested in just getting back a pick for a pending UFA.
GMBL and NickOT74 liked this.

They are looking to move Provorov, so Sandin might be of interest but the package for Konecny is probably very light.

The Flyers don't have to move Konecny, nor do they probably want to, he's producing very well, is still in the flyers timeline, and is locked up cheap for 3 more years, bottom line, you need to overpay if you want konecny, that package is just not enough and could easily get beat
