I don't think trading a player on pace for 30+ goals is a good idea.

Me neither, but if its a capable defensive d- and a right handed physical one at that- I'd at least think about it.

I would usually agree, but is Olofsson in Buffalo's long term plans. If not this gives me a LD that can go up and down pairings, Samuelsson hasn't exactly looked great the last month and a big Physical RD in Korczak as my partner of the future for Power.

A 30 goal winger who is on the right side of 30 should absolutely part of Buffalo's long term plans. A 35 year old D man and an unproven prospect isn't the return I'd seek if we deal him.

He will be 29 when his next deal is signed, so you are willing to do a 4 or 5yr deal at 5 or 6m for him. That's fine I am not.
