Description
Love Oshie but I hope he LTIRetires.

Caps need to move on from Mantha, ideally we would package him for a good top 6 forward but I doubt it happens. I would be fine with Garland or Boeser but the caps apparently have no interest in Boeser.

Bringing Brown back could be interesting, he would likely be relatively cheap.

McMike or Lappy should be ready to play, it will depend which can adjust to being on the wing more easily.

I doubt caps bring back all 3 of Orlov, Gus, and Jensen but there is a chance

I would. be nice to have players that can play defensively. What would Washington fans feel about Mantha + McMichael for Garland and Rathbone?

I would much rather hold on to Mantha, then to trade for either Garland or Boeser...

I'd disagree with McMichael > Rathbone. Rathbone Offensively is an NHL Caliber Defenceman Defensively is okay to bad. Problem is we already have a small ish offensive dynamo on D who passes better then Rathbone. Figured They were both struggling to make the big teams a change of scenery trade. but all good.

i think fehervary gets more money to the point that they wouldn't be able to keep brown. would be surprised if they brought back everyone, even if it is possible.

Mantha is a good player who would excel with a bonafide top 6 roll and PP time. I do not think he’s the right kind of player to produce in a middle 6 role with no PP time.

He’s not producing enough to warrant a bigger role and he’s not getting a big enough role to produce.

I think it’s time we move on from him since he isn’t giving the coaches what they are looking for

Yeah I completely agree with moving on from him, I'm just not a big fan of either Boeser or Garland tbh.

Edit: But I probably could be convinced on the Garland swap though, if its looking like we are struggling to move him lol

same here, also would be down for Tarasenko if the Blues are considering moving him.
