Hypothetically speaking this doesn’t get you saros. If Nashville was to go full rebuild then it would be a better package than this for saros. I think that would at least 5 teams that would drive the price up. A younger top 5 goalie with term doesn’t come available often

If Flyers would admit they need a rebuild they might take that deal. As it stands brain dead hockey ops thinks they can turn it around with Retool Rasmus.

If Samsonov were a 2023 first-round draft pick better than a goalie who is 15-3, why would you be trading him away?

There's nothing in that package that would interest Nashville in the slightest, because the Preds would want the draft pick to be the third-best element in the deal.
