I'm not sure I understand the trade
Post TDL- Reimer is a 30+ ufa. We would want him for THIS yrs playoffs only. Why are we trading fir him afterwards.
I'm OK trading MBs rights, but let Schmid backup then

Don’t know what you don’t understand, the trade happened at the 2023 TDL … so Reimer won’t be part of the team at the start of the 2023-24 season, you can see Vanecek & Schmid as the goaltenders.

No. You replace Reimer with a younger goaltender and Simek with a young LHD. It make sense for both teams

Bahl could be, Blavkwood is a gamble worth it IMO
