When was the last time any one team made 4 trades at TDL? That is not a realistic expectation. Maybe just the Chicago and corresponding Arizona trades. Don't trade for Jesse and Edmundson is overrated

Unrealistic to trade schmidt he has the trade conditions and provides good locker room presence so doubt he's moved

Oilers can't afford Shmidt unless you wanna take Foegs and Barrie too.

The Chicago and Arizona one is basically one deal it's a 3 team trade where Chicago would send toews to Arizona, Arizona then retains again and jets get toews at 75% retained

I can't see Edmonton having the cap space or want for Schmidt, the Jets are stuck with him.

Edmundson is broken down and not worth investing assets in, the Jets need a better dman then him anyway, should just pay the price for Chycrun.

Chicago could get better then that for those two and aren't waiting till 2025 for a 2nd round pick to fuel their rebuild.. lol

Ya I’m guessing chicago eats money and whatever it takes to get into the 23 first round as many times as possible, not sure what I should take from this team yet, could be a ridiculous run or a first round whimper, when ever I believe one way or the other they prove me wrong.

You could say a lot of things about this ACGM, but realistic definitely isn't one of them.

It'll be interesting to see how they do the rest of the way, they were stumbling before the all-star break, not many easy games left and really any team can beat another.

Idk, they've done better then I thought they would but their bottom six is still very useless and is the defense one of a cup winner, I just don't see it.

Ya blueline isn’t bad, but missing toughest position to add a buffy type minute eater, squad is also missing a streaky gun that can carry the squad along with Connor and scheifele hot streaks. Not sure if either coming at the deadline. Teams in a tough spot with helly/Dubois/scheifele to figure out and an aging wheeler, kind of a fork in the road and whatever choice they make there’s going to be upset fans. Pretty much guaranteed they choose double down on current nucleus unless their hands are forced and guys want to move on. So hopefully that’s the right answer and there’s a run a brewing.

I think they should either pay the price for Chycrun or do almost nothing, maybe grab Toews if he's cheap enough to acquire.

I wouldn’t mind a domi audition possibly, maybe a rhd dman prospect 8th ish dman with opportunity to move up. Not sure on a toews appearance til the off-season just on a scheifele/Dubois decision time, jets love the scheifele/Dubois/Lowry and not sure toews wouldn’t be a pissed off forgotten man, resume and fans would appreciate a toews add even if he’s a shell of his old self. I’m a chyrunn fan, just not quite sure of the fit on the wrong side, but stacking him and morrissey up on one side never a bad idea, would take a bit of a move at some point to add the right guy on the other side. But progress going forward.
