If we can’t make Meier happen, I don’t really hate this trade

I don’t mind retaining on Brock but that’s a lot to retain for a 60 point pace player. I think 25% is a more reasonable amount especially if taking a contract back like johnsson

First you don’t even meet the requirements of a 2nd and third. Then you throw in a cap dump and expect the Canucks to half retain for 3 years? With that much retention his price will be much higher. Maybe this trade works with a million of retention

Hate it for the devs, Boeser stinks now. Absolutely atrocious defensively

That makes sense. Moving AJ would mean retention isn’t even needed, but I figured keep it on there to see what the feedback would be like

boqvist+2nd seems to fit Seravalli’s comps. Retention I’m sure could be figured out, since I don’t think 50% would be the end all be all

He sucks defensively, but it’s a low risk price on him regaining his form considering what his worth would have been in the past

With that much retention plus taking on Johnsson, the return probably needs to be better. They probably don't have any interest in Boqvist either

Boquist is their #3 C he is in fact worth a 3rd for sure.
I am guessing but not sure the 5th is for the retenion.

That retention is ridiculous, they aren't doing that.

I think Boeser would be a good acquisition for NJD, especially if we can get him at a discount.
