This team could be sitting pretty for years to come

Description
I likely think the Yotes will have a top 3 prospect pool after this draft. Cooley, Geekie and technically Guenther are all going to be fantastic players and adding someone like Fantilli only adds to how well this team will be set up. Arizona pick = Fantilli. Edmonton pick = Reinbacher. Winnipeg pick = Whitelaw

Both trades I seem as fair value for both sides. Chychrun is everything and more that the Oilers need. Young, cheap, great on both sides of the puck. It costs them a high first rounder (20-28 in draft), high second rounder and high 3rd rounder, Puljujari who desperately needs to move on from the Oilers and Broberg a former first round pick. Edmonton easily walks away with the best piece but there is alot of upside to the Yotes. Puljujari could be the next Nickhushkin (unlikely), Broberg could be a nice top 4 guy over time, and a first, second and third round pick could be anything.

Gostisbehere to the Jets helps the Jets with overall structure on the back end plus power play two. With the last season and a half, Gostisbehere has been a weapon offensively, putting up amazing numbers on a bad offensive Yotes team. I think he easily replaces Schmidt on the second unit power play and is a massive upgrade over Capobianco or if you wanted Samberg on the left hand side third pair. I would likely keep Samberg on the left side and have Gostisbehere either play his wrong side or switch him with Dillon on the second unit. It costs the Jets a very high first (25-32) which I think the organization would be willing to move considering how good and deep they are this season. An extenion could be in place however it depends on how deep and how well both the team and player perform over the playoffs. There would be no extra pick sent back to the Yotes if they Jets extended Gostisbehere.

I just picture a team in 2-3 years that could be one of the best for a long time with their prospect pool IF they can figure out a rink close or in downtown to ensure everyone comes and see this fun team.

I can't see Winnipeg giving up their 23 first for Ghost. That's a pretty awful investment for them.

I actually think that Edmonton walks away from this. I don't think they move on from Broberg or Holloway.

I think in a season like this, the 1st is totally up for a defence upgrade. Is he the best on the back end? No, but what he brings offensively could be the difference between a 2nd round exit or a Stanley Cup birth.

Betman would do everything in his power to keep that team there and Breard plus Cooley would be electric!

I could see that, I think Broberg is who they would want back the most. Holloway is untouchable on the Oilers

For a top 4 upgrade yes, but for extra bottom pairing depth, no. He's not passing anyone in Winnipeg's top 4.

Understandable, I am assuming that 2nd plus something small would be a better bet?

Nah like ghost is not of interest to the point what wpg would give up would be severely beaten by other offers jets need a rhd with playoff experience and solid defensive ghost is the complete opposite of that so no

I can't see Winnipeg going that high since Ghost doesn't provide anything the Jets need other than depth. They'd be best off sending him elsewhere.
