I don't see how a competent, prudent GM can take the risk that Demko is completely healthy and ready for duty on the basis of only 11 games before the trade deadline (he hasn't been activated for tonight's game against the Devils).

I wish people would stop speculating on what Demko's trade value is based upon his 2021-2022 record, which pre-dated not one but two separate injuries (one at the end of April, one at the beginning of December which originally was only going to take 6 weeks to rehab and has now taken 9).

That's why they said "can be any team interested in defensive depth"

They probably just chose a random team to do the trade with.

Well they picked the Devils who were otherwise uninvolved in this post. Next time they should pick a team already in the post.

TB might (again say it's very realistic Vancouver people can be lying about it.) Certainly not overpaying for a guy they REFUSED TO OFFER A CONTRACT TO JUST A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, A guy who they saw everyday for 2 years.. Are you saying TB coaching and management staff is to stupid to see what they have right in front of them?

With the emergence of Perbix, it's clear who TB is choosing to keep on their right side. (Not to mention Bogosian is taking a spot over Foote)

With Megna being a decent depth option and being moved for a 4th, it's clear to say Schenn would net around similar value. I can't see Foote being worth any more than a late 3rd at best. The only thing keeping his value is him being cost efficient and semi-young.

I'll keep the depth of Myers and Foote over Schenn Schenn only played 19 of the of the 48 playoff games he was on the team for and of those 19 he played 14 of them TB played 7D
