1st off I want nothing to do with Krug and the contract. It is too long and too much for an aging defenseman. 2nd Yzerman has made minor deals to help Vrana play and get his life and career back on track in Grand Rapids. So that trade would be a no.

You don’t have any other desirable assets and your GM needs to win a round to keep his job.

I am just going by what has been written here in the D. He made two deals to acquire players who have less games played so they can play Vrana and get his career on track in Grand Rapids. Maybe to trade him or to get him back to the big club.

Have heard nothing that the relationship is that bad.

Also if we were to buy him out during off season, it is still less than what it would cost to carry Krug over 4 years of his 4 remaining years.

That’s why Chiarot was in the deal also. You think I’m really excited to get him? His play at contract are prob worse than Krug’s. Krug also QB’d one of the best PP’’s in league last year. Understand you not liking - was just tinkering

Seravalli and Pagnotta are hacks, They have the least amount of credibility of all of the insiders.

I know everyone says no but I think krug has a better chance of being worth his salary for the next 3 years than chiarot. I'd think about taking that deal.

Seconded. Krug just hasn't worked in the Blues system in my opinion. In the same way that Leddy didn't suit Detroit. I think he'd work pretty well with Seider, not so good with Hronek.

I'd do Krug for Chiarot straight up if they wanted out of Krug's deal.

Why do people still think The Fourth Period is legit? Pagnotta and all the "insiders" guess about everything and when it's right they push it in your face to make you think they're legitimate sources.

I'm not putting myself out there claiming to be connected and have sources... Pagnotta reported that Kadri to the Isles was done and in the process of being finalized with the league and he also said NYI was in on Gaudreau, which was never true. There's been other scenarios in the past but these two are the ones that stick out since they're NYI. He's faked his way through life and that led to his NHL Network appearances. If you look at him for more than 2 seconds you'll realize all he does is rip info from actual insiders, change the wording, then act like it's new.

Andrew Gross - NYI reporter - was literally on Marek’s show yesterday talking about Horvat, and he mentioned that the Islanders were in on Gaudreau and Kadri in offseason… Kadri even suggested himself that he thought he was going somewhere else hence it took forever for him to sign….
“Insiders” aren’t always right on final happenings but there was some truth to both things you mentioned above so…

There's a difference between thinking you were going somewhere and a deal actually being done, Pagnotta said it was done.

Seravalli just broke the Tarasenko trade...must be a hack though because HockeyisMyPassion61 says so...take a lap pal
