Flames won't be able to give Huberneau away due to his 10.5m X 8 year contract starts next season at age of 30. He's on a 60 point pace this season.
I like the Tkachuk trade for the Flames, then they just blew it by resigning Huberneau.

So the Kings have to pay significant assets to dump Petersen, but then Calgary gets to dump him on San Jose for a 4th round pick?

Lol, habs are not giving their best D prospects and future Dcore for a 30 year year old Québec guy.

I wouldn't do Ghule for Huby 1 for 1 right now. We are rebuilding - huby would only hurt our taking and be too old when it is time to compete.

Canucks easily decline.
Vancouver 2024 1st >>> Calgary 2024 1st
Vancouver 2025 2nd > Kylington
Vancouver 2024 3rd > Nikolayev
Vancouver 2025 3rd > Calgary 2024 4th
I wouldn't even do the 2024 1st straight up for that package. Canucks are in no position to be trading draft picks for downgraded picks and players they don't need.

Why are calgary fans trying so much to trade huby to montreal ?! He's all yours with his ridiculously high contract that will get even worse by the time montreal will be ready to compete, montreal ain't never paying ANYTHING for a local kid who could've waited a year to sign here as a free agent if he was interested in playing for the habs... he obviously decided to be in calgary and he's all yours
