so you give up a 2nd for tarrasenko and barbashev half retained? i dont think that is enough to get it done.

I wouldn't mind a first unprotected. But Tarasenko's NTC will def lower the price

This is literally all I want, though I do agree that it's going to take a 1st to get it done. Add Vlad & Ivan and a depth D and let's roll.

EDIT: Maybe Tyler Motte too but that's a luxury

The last report we had on Tarasenko's NTC was that he would accept a trade to 10 teams. Those teams at the time were the Bruins, Islanders, Vegas, Avs, Lightning, Panthers, Hurricanes, Philly, Devils, and Toronto If I recall correctly. If those are still the teams then I don't think the NTC will be an issue for us to find a buyer. Although this list is a year old so things could have changed.
