Canes would rather keep KK’s contract and not touch Milller’s.

Where is one source that said the Canes are interested in Miller? You can’t just make up “trade rumors”.

I’ve learned to stop listening to anything Friedman and Seravalli have to say about the Canes, since it’s typically unreliable.

I didn’t say I believed him either but you asked for a source. He himself said he didn’t believe it but that is what he was hearing

Ever since Trocheck left, it’s been nothing but insiders linking C to the Canes, with a couple of wingers and a d or 2. You just start to tune out the insiders, especially with delusional ideas like Miller.

No thanks, not bailing Canucks out on Miller deal. Sure, he’ll undoubtedly be better for a couple years but he’ll likely drop off of a cliff after that and he has seemed to have locker room issues follow him from stop to stop. Maybe those are done now and just rumors but he’s definitely had baggage most of his career.

KK hasn’t performed at the level of his contract yet but he’s the Staal replacement long term and has shown he can handle those duties. So even if he never levels up offensively to the 2C many hoped him to be his downside is a 3C and at his salary and age the contract will play out just fine.

Where? As another commenter said, Ef hasn’t been the most reliable on Canes insights. Actually, I see him as more of a
Megaphone for agents and Canadian teams.

even if EF said something like this, I’d guess it’d be more Canucks and Miller’s agent trying to get him out of Vancouver. In this case - why not say the Canes. Easy mark.

Yea, like mentioned most major canadian insiders have been doing nothing but linking Carolina to every top 6 C imaginable since Trocheck left so i usually don't pay too much attention to them.

Last night during intermission. The whole KK trade thing (not linked to JT) was in his latest 32 thoughts
