Great deal for the Leafs. Lots of upside here, and even if he doesn't pan out, 1.1 mil for his services on the bottom pair is perfect. Big fan of Timmins in his admittedly brief tenure as a Leaf, excited to see what he becomes

How can you not like this signing? Worse case scenario is they flip him. Would you have rather they didn't sign him and just let him walk? He is certainly worth this deal

It is nice. The signing is good but it's true almost have the D-core will retire in the next 2 seasons. Timmins has the ceiling to be a top 4 defensemen
