Do I think this is what happens? Not necessarily. But, I made this team to see how much of a pay cut Senko would need to agree to for this to work. And it's quite the pay cut. Stranger things have happened, who knows. But here's how it would look if NYR could dump Goodrow in favor of re-signing Tarasenko. I do think these are fairly fair values for everyone besides Mr Senko.

One of the best things about the trade, is that they didn't give up either Kravstov or Jones... now, they could use them as chips to recoup draft picks, or in a cap dump situation like this, without giving up additional draft picks.

Drury really knocked this one out of the park!

Of course. I did write the description for a reason

If he would somehow agree to 5.5mil, I feel like the rest in this team is reasonably possible. I wouldn't sell off anyone else to keep him, and just hope Kravstov could eventually grow to work on the top line
