Can I say, I LOVE games starting this early. Wish they did it every Saturday & Sunday. Watching Montreal play at 12 30 is wild.

Was reported elsewhere (and I think by Lebrun) that Devils had asked for permission and were told no. Combined with what others have said, it sounds like Fitzy made his offer, and when they did not allow permission to talk to agent, he walked away and said, “ball is your court.”

I think NJD are moving on.

(I hope not, but it sounds that way).

The thing with McCabe though is hes very good at what he does. Like 3 more years at 4mill and if Chicago retains half he costs 2mill

And he was putting these numbers in Buffalo with Ristolinen as his partner

There's more to Hockey than getting a franchise type prospect. If you can't develop for ****, most of them will bust. You have to develop.

For Yakupov I believe his issues were that he only cared about developing his shooting and was very temperamental. Oilers did have a revolving door of coaches during that time but it's very hard to try and teach someone who doesn't want to be taught.

It absolutely wasn’t lol. Isles aren’t even in a playoff position, they signed him to a disgusting overpay of a contract, and gave up their best prospect, and likely top 15 first round pick in a stacked draft
