The point is, PHI wont accept that, there are TWO parties involved.

The Stars are not giving up 3 picks for Gurianov, whose (barring an increase in production) not going to be qualified with a contract at the end of the season.

Three very late picks (2 7ths and a 6th, spread over 3 years) and freeing up almost 3mil in cap space to get an impact guy at the TDL? I think a cap dump for 3mil is cheap at that price.

What’s the deal that would make the Stars dump Gurianov? Theyd probably have to use more draft picks. That’s not likely, so the Stars would trade him in a deal to get that player. They are not moving picks to get off him. They’d move Khudobin first if they wanted to generate cap space.

Now that’s a deal for both teams (and actually I think Philly could retain 50% and flip him for another pick)
