I thought Canes fans were less than Luke warm on Beoser in light of his defensive game..... or lack thereof. ???

We are or at least i am. If Meier truly is going to NJ then Boeser seems like a logical move for us

Well, Beoser can score..... and I am one that thinks that a singular defensive liability can be absorbed by the whole in Carolina.

Was quite surprised to see thus. I remember having strong opinions on Beoser lol

I dont see vancouver retaining on a boeser deal. Boeser is not a bad player. Slightly over player but I feel like without top pp time under bruce really hurt his value. He's still on pace for his same career points per game.

Most of the talking heads have mentioned Vancouver retaining to make a deal work.

I don’t really want Boeser either but it would make sense at something we would do. At this point we have to settle to a degree without Meier

Could see the Canucks asking for a different prospect than Gunler as they already have a lot of wingers, but I don’t hate this deal

What else would they be looking for?

A RHD prospect would definitely be at the top of their needs, if not that then a C prospect. Not sure how Heimosalmi is valued compared to Gunler but could see him being someone the Canucks like

I realize I'm just speaking for myself here but I just threw up in my mouth a little. I can see the Canes moves at the TDL coming out of left field, but not this left field. Think some are being a little too pessimistic. I think Waddell and CO might get a little creative, but this isn't that creativity.

Ya. I just heard that to. I guess if the return is increased if they retain. I like boeser so I wouldn't do it. His points per game are the same as his other years. Just not the goals.
