This would be a clear win for LA. I think there needs to be at least a 1st in there for Vejmelka, especially since Petersen is being moved for free here.

Arz is trading the established player so I see why 2 1sts + a good prospect might be high, but they should be getting Clarke+something even if it's small at the very least. I think the Yotes want a 1st+a 2nd for Vejmelka which is probably too high, two 2nds is reasonable or a 1st. Moving Petersen should cost at least a 2nd.

Fine, change "loss" to "terrible idea." Too much potential to trade a guy with Clarke's potential for a defenseman 2 years away from UFA.

There will be more going back to ARI, unless this is just you saying this is the base of the trade. But vejmelka is worth it. Swapping Clarke for chychrun now is smart but in the future it’s going to probably suck.

With Chychrun's injury history, I would agree it's a bad idea, especially with LA having other prospects that they could offer.
