if colorado had money to resign larkin they do that for sure, but that's too much for a rental.

And the canes paid 6 million and a 1st to find out what Montreal already knew about Jesperi Kotkaniemi and then gave him 32 million more. You have to try.

"Det needs picks". Yeah, picks are nice, but we are not trading our Captain and 1st line center just so we can get more picks. Wings should make the team better, not the other way around.

So Ned was really good for us last year, kept us on games that we had no business being in. He had a .901 save percentage in 59 games on one of the worst defensive teams in the league. He definitely was worth a third round pick and earned himself that money.

Reports are that Larkin came way down on his ask, He's probably going to get the Horvat deal of 8 x $8,500,000 when all is said and done per David Pagnotta.

Avs don't need to dump any cap. they can throw 14.25m on LTIR if they want to get all Tampa/Vegas/Tor/MTL with the cap. Also EJ as a 3rd pair rd is not something they can get rid of come playoffs.
