Way, way, way too much money for Markov. He was only making $4.25 last year and he's 38. I love him and want him to retire a Hab, but 1-year @ $4M is where Bergevin needs to draw the line.

Nyquist in his prime would be preferable to Pleks on the decline, but there's no room for both. Otherwise, there's money left for re-signing Price.

Markov and Plek would be off the books after this year so thats 11 mil opening up for price
