Don't really understand the reason for Buffalo to make this type of move. I really like Maatta, but Vrana isn't a need for Buffalo. The picks are risky if Detroit turns things around in the next year or 2, and would just be future prospects further away than Savoie anyway. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd for Maatta would make some sense.

Detroit isn't doing this either.

Vrána has been on a tear in Grand Rapids lately with 10 points in his last 9 games and he was called up today. Määttä can probably be had for a 2nd round pick if you want.
