Decline. KK is nhl ready, not going backwards with a prospect

Well I am all in for moving Olofsson. But he is pretty hot right now. I probably could with retention get a late 1st and a B prospect or a high 2nd with a good prospect at the TDL

I would think that NSH declines there.

Jeannot trades on here just hurt my brain. I don’t think that anyone, including myself, knows what he’ll fetch. He’s an odd player value-wise. I’d think that the Preds would need someone to overpay for him though.

He’s just so hard to value

Very true, from last year to this year has been a difference

Lol we never were. I don’t know where that came from other than the cap hit and age.

Weird, saw a few AGM's from Vegas fans moving him for a 4th, saw one for Future Considerations. I was kinda shocked. I would take him for a year with his ability to move up and down pairs.

I think your 3rd back and a 2nd in 24 with KK sounds pretty close imo

So my 3rd back, Vegas's 2nd in 2024 and KK for Olofsson

With only Jokiharju and Lyubushkin that would fill one of Buffalo's weak areas, RHD.
While other contributors may disagree, with 23 goals this season, Olofsson is top line production, playing 3rd line minutes.
Reunite him with Eichel, and he could reach 40 goals.
Only 7 NHL players who have played more than 40 games score goals faster than his 1.8/60 min.

Here his Pronman's evaluation of Kaedan Korczak:

Ranked 7th among VGK prospects, RHD
21 years old | 6-foot-3 | 192 pounds | Shoots right

Drafted: No. 41 in 2019
Tier: Projected to play NHL games

Skating: NHL average
Puck skills: Below NHL average
Hockey sense: NHL average
Compete: NHL average

Analysis: Korczak played a large role for his AHL team in Henderson this season, lining up on both special teams regularly. He’s a tall, mobile defenseman who can make a lot of defensive stops due to that combination. Offensively he’ll never excite you, but there’s enough first pass and transition ability with his feet that I think he’ll be a full-time third-pair defenseman.

Maybe Karmanos would want to move Olofsson for a 2nd pairing RHD, but Korczak may become a 4th/5th NHL RHD.

Think he could be a solid 4, but I would probably want a bit more than this back. Or it would have to coincide with my other trade for it to happen.
