Grier doesn't trade Meier if they aren't getting better offers than this. 1st & Muk are good pieces but people think Grier is asking for higher quality prospects than that or else the deal would have happened already. No use for Tatar in SJ, and he's more useful for NJ
Foote is meh, and SJ already has plenty of LWs so probably not a lot of interest. You should never try claiming players retain their 1st round status if they don't develop like one, or if they wouldn't be taken in the 1st round in a redraft. It's just a cheesy sales pitch.
I think the deal replaces Foote with one of there other great prospects, Holtz obviously, or Casey

Get out of here with that garbage. Just because someone was drafted in the 1st years ago doesn’t mean they are worth a 1st now. This is a B and a C prospect and roster player. This gets beat by Carolina, Buffalo, heck probably even Toronto

The Sharks asking price on Meier is for three top pieces (ie Nemec, Hughes, Mercer, Holtz). It ought to come down.

Mukahamdullin, Foote and 1st should be fair.

Foote has some useful qualities. Physical, good defensively with his stick, great shot. But the skating. Whoa. Turns like the Titanic.

There are a lot of options above Foote, below Holtz.
