Description

What is the thought of Washington moving on from Wilson? With Ovi out for an unseen amount of time, would they take an unprotected first, and prospect and others for a guy who has one season remaining on his deal at the end of the year? I know Wilson does some questionable stuff but I feel like he would be a huge piece of the leafs roster both physically and scoring wise.

Note: I highly believe Washington will NOT move Wilson even with how injured he's been this season. However, it is a great converstation starter.

Think only way Caps move Wilson to TOR would have to involve Nylander coming back. If not, then maybe that package but replace Robertson with Knies.

It would be Wilson for nylander. We would have to add a bit to that tho

Totally fair to assume Knies would have to come back. Wilson has that weird high end value that not a lot of players in the NHL have (Scoring, psychically dominate and will fight)

At this TDL I don't see any package that WAS would accept that TOR would want to give up. In the summer / at the draft I could see them being tempted for 2 first rounders + something extra. Next deadline assuming Caps are selling probably the normal big deadline package of a first plus whatever salary filler

He would fit in perfectly with TOR. It's the exact type of player they need.

Toronto is prolly the one place Wilson would want to go other than DC but he is a unicorn and so valuable that I doubt he is ever dealt out of DC
