Nylander would most likely be in the package for Weegar if he went to Toronto

I'd consider Liljegren & Holl for Weegar

Seems odd to Trade a guy you just signed long-term, but maybe both sides agree their styles of play aren't conducive to one another's

Weegar is originally from closer to Ottawa, but to be back in Ontario and playing on a High Scoring Eastern Team in TOR, like he did in FLA, might be better for him

@Gmonwy, I think we have other Assets (Picks & Prospects) to acquire guys like Meier, Duclair, Reinhart, JVR, Barbashev or JVR and saving on Weegar's contract would allow us to re-sign one of them. Dube & Toffoli are playing great, we just need somebody more experienced and better than Pelletier for now to hopefully get Huberdeau back to the Top of his game, otherwise do we consider shipping Huberdeau to MTL for the same reasons as I mentioned about Weegar above and would they even want him!? Again, maybe their style of play isn't conducive to Sutter's game. Do we fire the most recent Jack Adams Award Winner in Sutter who we just extended for 2 more years OR do we find players who fit his Gritty Defense First Play Style Better!?
