Ducks decline. Henrique is scoring at the same pace 5v5 as Horvat over the past 3 years

He can play anywhere up and down the lineup at C and LW, PK, PP, leadership, proven winner at multiple levels (OHL, Mem Cup, WJC Silver, WHC Gold), Stanley Cup final experience.

Henrique without half a season of retention is the definition of a player that gets a 1st at the deadline, now add on a year and a half retention and you can see where I'm going

We get this same return next year and only need to retain half a season not a season and a half. Any deal for Henrique 50% retained this year needs to have a 2023 1st + or theres no real reason for ANA to do it

Would be great if you sent enough to get him as my boy @Salzy has said and also shown perfect reasoning to why more is needed — starting with a 2023 1st

Been saying this all year, but the Ducks fans are right, something like our '23 first, a third and abruz should get it done

I don't know if any of you guys have a sub to The Athletic but they just put out an article about "perfect deadline fits" for a bunch of teams, and Henrique was traded to the Avalanche for a 2025 2nd and 3rd.

Starting to feel like the difference between there and here and that I have to pay $72 a year to read The Athletic.

I actually just cancelled this month and I was subbed from their 1st month. The quality seems to have gone downhill which is sad, I really loved that site

I feel like the average fan is so much more informed than the average fan of even only 5 years ago where sites that offer more opinion based articles have lost a lot of readers.

I miss when the Athletic was only $40 a year 😭
