This trade offer didn't get Terry in the last ACGM, and it doesn't get him now.

No reason for the Canucks to trade Schenn for Compher. Would rather just get a pick

This is the second time today I've seen that hideous Troy Terry proposal, but from a different user. I hope that this isn't contagious.

On a realistic note, did you forget that you gave MacKinnon a 100% raise to $12.6 million starting next season? And did you overlook the fact that Terry is a RFA and due for a big raise, too? And that you have only 13 guys under contract for 2023-2024, but less than $14 million under a cap ceiling of $83.5 million?

Yeah, Seattle's not trading their franchise cornerstone anytime soon, and especially not for that package.

Canucks decline. Schenn has 252 hits and 5 fighting majors this season, while MacDermid has 72 hits and 4 fighting majors. Please explain to me how the Canucks adding MacDermid’s “grit” makes them a more physical team when he is replacing Schenn. Schenn is not only leading the league in hits this season, but he is also the all time leader for hits among defensemen, and is by far a much more physical and gritty player than MacDermid.

Why would the Sabres do that? Not being mean but that makes literally no sense? Maybe throw in a 2nd round pick but you are trading a career AHL guy for a career NHLer and Buffalo is still in the playoff race.
