I'm not entirely sure Klingberg fetches even one 1st Round Pick at the deadline with how rough is season has been. With you retaining and Boston very likely having a very late pick, a 1st Round Pick here is probably fine, but you're not going to get Boston to give up their best prospect on top of the 1st Round Pick, even if you throw in Henry Thrun (who doesn't have much value at all, due to the fact that the entire league knows he's not going to sign in Anaheim).

Of course here is a condition that Thrun would agree to sign a contract with Bruins.

But for now Henry Thrun's hockey lifetime very similar to Adam Fox: both decided not to sign a contract with the club owning rights. Both played till 22 in Harvard. Both were late birds and selected far from the 1st round. Although Fox had a bit better statistics in NCAA. And NYR got him for 2 second-round picks. Plus Mike Reilly's bad contact goes to ducks. Does returning of Bruins' 2nd round pick back from Anaheim equalize this trade for you? Or replacing the 1st round pick by 3rd round pick.

Oh no. No no no. I think if you take out both lysell and the first from boston, it’s still a decision. Klingberg has been kinda bad for a while now, and if you look at Boston’s right side, there isn’t really a fit. Obviously he’s not bumping McAvoy or Carlo down. He’s not going to sniff the powerplay, where 25% of his points come from. So now it’s a decision between $1M Connor Clifton who is playing that role really really well on the third pair, or $3.5M defensive liability Klingberg. From a value standpoint, this is obviously just insane. From a fit standpoint, I think you can cross Boston off your list.
