I have no idea why OTT would give all that up for Weegar who is signed until he's 37 years old. How long will he be able to play top four? When will actually be more detrimental than useful? By 33 years old will we be feeling like we're right back into another Zaitsev situation? I would much rather overpay for Ian Cole or Carson Soucy on a short term deal.

Is the idea to sign Korpisalo? He'll be looking for a multi-year deal and, while he's having a good season, his two prior seasons we far from great.
