Vesey has been a godsend. Hes been fine in that spot. Ideally they get someone to move him to line 4, but I think it’ll be too expensive to get, or enough cap room

Maybe Lafferty could play there. It’s been a fluid situation all year in the top 6, but they have capable people sliding in and out of there

If to cash out that big I rather go for someone like Taylor Raddysh instead. I like Lafferty I really do... both have contract next year Raddysh is cheaper and can play more up in the lineup.

I have and I know, but there are so many moving parts it's impossible to know what direction Drury is going to go. It all depends on what Miller, Chytil and Laffy want cap hit wise, and some of that decision will be based on how well they do the rest of this year and in the playoffs. If they make a deep run and all 3 play well, Drury may not have the $ to sign them all, so it's wait and see. But either way, it's not going to be $575k that makes or breaks those decisions. Drury may decide to try to keep Tarasenko and trade Chytil while his value is high. Not what I would do, but who knows?

Yeah, but you are gonna find the Hawks more reluctant to trade Raddysh.
